HELP FOR HUXLEY

Donation protected

On Monday Nov 7th, 2016 the Smith's (Sharon, Jay and Nateo) received some of the worst news parents could hear. Their beautiful, smiley and happy 10 month old son Huxley was suddenly being diagnosed with Cancer.

Huxley appeared to have a cold and was currently being treated for an infection, when his symptoms worsened he was taken to Surrey Memorial where further tests were done. The family was then quickly transported to BC Children's hospital, and the next morning spinal and bone marrow tests confirmed Leukemia was present. Further tests were conducted and Huxley has been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia

Huxley will undergo Cancer treatment and this will be a long challenging process on him and his family.  Treatment is expected to last 5-6 months in the hospital.

It is unclear when exactly Sharon will be able to return to work, her maternity benefits conclude at the end of Dec.

It would be great if we could help provide the family with a bit of financial support to cover additional costs that will arise during this time.

All donations will be used to help cover additional medical expenses, parking,  extra transportation costs to and from hospital, food costs for Sharon while she is with Huxley, and assist with household costs while Huxley is being treated.

Now, it's time that we can send back some of that love and support to the Smith's.  Anything you can donate will be truly appreciated.  Everything we can do to help and surround them with love is what is most important so they can focus on Huxley beating this. Please spread the word. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
