Help for "Kitty" the Newfoundland

We had so much fun with our amazing Newfoundland "Kitty" (Am. Gr. Ch., Can Ch. Denali's Here Kitty Kitty). We named her because of the way she approached us as a puppy. She would get low and wiggle back and forth, then pounce 3 times towards us like a kitten. To make things more fun, instead of saying "come" to call her, we would say "Here Kitty, Kitty" and she would come running. She had an amazing and dynamic personality - she made sure you always knew when she was around.
For us, our sweet Kitty was a once in a lifetime showdog. At the age of 16 months Kitty became a Grand Champion in the U.S. She became a Canadian Champion at the National Specialty for Newfoundlands in Canada when she was 3 years old. A couple of months later we were thinking about entering her in the Westminster Dog Show. However, we discovered a sore on her foot and took her for treatment multiple times as it kept coming back. The last time she was given a higher dose of antibiotics and the anti-inflammatory Meloxicam together. Ten days later she went into renal failure and was in intensive care at our vet and then Cornell University. We brought her home and gave her IV fluids. It gave us a chance to say goodbye. We had four weeks with her before she had to be euthanized.
Two weeks after Kitty died her 11 year old grandmother, Champion Denali's Rejoice in the Light "Joy", went to the vet so we could find out why she started limping. It turned out she had osteosarcoma and the vet put her down while she was still on the x-ray table to prevent her from any more discomfort.
The veterinary bills for their care were extensive. They are beyond the scope of my ability to pay. I have been raising these wonderful Newfoundland Dogs for 48 years and I'm asking for your help in offsetting some of these veterinary expenses.
