Help for Brampton Boy

Hello my name is Derrick Thomas and I am the uncle of Miranda Jones.  Davion's mother. I live in Mississauga Ontario.

The funds raised here will help Davion through is recovery process. Help with things that are not covered by OHIP.  Such as a psychologist, special need items for his home,  transportation needs and more.

The funds will be withdrawn and placed in Trust on behalf of Davion and his mom.

This sweet little boy 5 year old, Davion  was left clinging to life as he lay unconscious by the train tracks in Brampton.   He was horribly  beaten ,  left with life threatening critical injuries.  The police received a call that the child was missing and they immediately searched the area.  He was rushed to the local hospital then transferred to Sick Kids Hospital for emergency treatment.  Doctors put him in a medically induced Coma to try to save is life.  He had head trauma and other severe injuries from the attack.  He has still not awaken. 

We are all shocked and saddened, we have to  lend our heart to this little boy and pray that he recovers.    All of our love and support has to be there for him through his recovery so he can obtain the treatment and care that he needs to live a happy, healthy, fulfilled life.    

We intend to establish a trust for your kind donations with the terms of the trust as an absolute discretionary trust with Davion as the beneficiary.  We will involve legal assistance to ensure that the trust is set up for any expenses related for his medical health and well being.

We / Everyone is devastated and heartbroken that  this child has been hurt so severely.   As we all share the same fear, everyone is trying to understand why?  We have to believe he will fully recover.  We all need to share our love and support, he is an innocent child, a 5 year old child.  

We cannot comprehend this tragic event and we are all afraid.  CCU - Critical Care Unit, Doctors are working around the clock after he suffered horrific head trauma and other injuries.  He is now in stable but still critical condition.   God Bless, we are all so grateful and thankful to the first responders, Police for acting so fast and efficient with their canine unit, they found him as he lay unconscious near the train tracks, in an extremely dangerous situation.  

Davion is a lovable, happy and carefree little boy playing with other children freely enjoying all the fun, exciting things little children do.  

The community has held a candlelight vigil  with teddy bears, flowers, stuffed hockey players and candles as they pile outside his home to pay tribute to her and offer the will of strength.    He’s known around his community as a very sweet child always smiling and full of life.  Some others call him Day Day

There are several News reports, the Police have reported that a suspect has been arrested .   We have faith in our Police,  our main concern is this child, and we created this campaign solely for Davion.   

Thank you for the many kind words and prayers, he is so precious, with his terrific rambunctious spirit, he would fly around in his Super Hero costumes pretending he is one.   

We pray he is our Miracle Child Super Hero and with your help we can provide the best treatment available for him.
