Jenny's heart fund

On August 31st, 2016, I was discharged from LRMC after spending a week in the ICU and the Cardiac ward. I arrived there by ambulance in an induced coma on August 25th and was admitted with Acute hypoxemic respiratory failure, acute dyspnea, congestive heart failure, hypoxia, tachycardia. I was diagnosed with peripartum cardiomyopathy and edema, this happened twenty two days after giving birth to my beautiful (and healthy) son.
"Peripartum cardiomyopathy is a rare type of heart failure that occurs during pregnancy or immediately after delivery. The condition weakens the heart muscle and causes the heart to become enlarged. As a result, the heart can't pump blood properly to the rest of the body."

The time in the hospital and subsequent medical treatment (had to wear a defibrillator) led to a series of many more unfortunate events, including loss of income and medical insurance. This has left me in a desperate need for help with cost of life saving medications and other emergency expenses, including the need for formula for my son, which I never anticipated, but can no longer breastfeed because of the medication I must take.

Thank you so much for your time. Even if you are unable to help financially, I am grateful for your well wishes and please share my story.

Much love and appreciation,
Jenny
