Fight PANDAS/PANS For Max Wallace
On December 24, 2016 our precious 13 year old son took his life due to complications from PANDAS/PANS. The reason for this is lack awareness, lack of education in the medical community and delayed treatment due to late diagnosis. No parent should ever lose a child to this disease that affects so many, yet doesn't get the attention and recognition it deserves. Max was a normal functioning, healthy, beautiful, baby boy who was stolen from us by this disease. Before he was diagnosed (less than 1 year ago), he suffered with every PANS symptom for years. He acquired many diagnosis. He received many treatments for those diagnosis and NONE of them worked. It is our mission and calling by God to bring awareness to as many as we can reach. It is our desire to stand by others to fight and get the treatment that they need. We do not want to see another child lose his/her life to this disease. We do not want to put a monetary limit on what God can do. PANDAS/PANS has so affected our family that our passion is for others who suffer. We will be forever changed because of this tragedy and we may have lost the battle but we will not stop fighting for others.

I am so sorry for your loss. It breaks my heart as I sit here and read about it. My daughter has also suffered from PANDAS for years. She also has gone through many different diagnoses and treatments, none of which ever resolved her symptoms. There have been several times I have feared my daughter hurting one of her siblings or herself. Thank you for telling your story so others can learn about this horrible disease, and other children can be helped. I will keep your family in my prayers.
My 12 year old daughter has been fighting PANDAS and Lyme for almost t wo years now. Your reality is my worst fear. I pray for peace for your family. I know you have peace knowing you precious son is no longer suffering and is with Jesus. I will be praying for your family and know God will make it possible for you to make awareness and lead you in your journey.
Amazing news about the documentary possibly coming to LR!!! You are doing such an awesome job bringing awareness to this awful disease.
