The time has come for Dan to put all his time and energy into getting his kidney transplant. Many of you know him as the owner of Mucho Macho Taco, Taco Atoyac or possibly from one of the many other kitchens he has been the chef at. Two years ago Dan became severely ill and was diagnosed with end stage renal failure. He has been going to dialysis 3 days a week since then. Today, Dan closed his restaurant Mucho Macho Taco as requested by his doctors to focus solely on his upcoming kidney transplant. He will be going to numerous doctors appointments and will be unable to work until after his transplant. If all goes well, a kidney could be available soon. While he waits for his transplant he will still need to support himself, his 17 year old son Gabe, pay medical bills and all the extra costs associated with his condition.
All money raised will go to Dan Maldonado and his family to ensure he can put all his focus and energy into healing and come back better than ever!!!
