Help Dan Get to Germany for Lyme Treatment!

As you may know, I’ve been struggling with Lyme Disease and its wrath for over 6 years now. I’ve seen 20+ doctors and undergone many different treatments in order to try and heal. Living with this invisible illness is very difficult on so many levels. On the outside, I look well but those close to me know I still suffer daily from crippling symptoms.
Currently, I still am dealing with extreme fatigue, excruciating joint pain, nerve pain from bi lateral small fiber neuropathy, Lyme induced arthritis, as well as auto immune manifestations similar to Lupus. To put it plainly, I’ve missed out on so much life since getting sick in 2013. So many milestones and goals I had hoped to achieve, were forced to be put on hold in order to survive each day battling Lyme symptoms. Years of my life have been dictated by my medication schedule and my doctor/ nursing appointments.
On top of my disease, my family and I have endured an enormous financial burden. For 6 years, nearly all of my care has been out of pocket. This includes having spent over $50,000 on medical expenses. This includes hospitalizations, doctor appointments, extensive lab work , medications, supplements, acupuncture, cupping, and so much more.
For several years now, my team of doctors have encouraged me to pursue Hyperthermia treatment at Klinik St. George in Germany to eradicate my Lyme Disease. Hyperthermia is a cutting edge Lyme treatment, which raises your core body temperature to 106.88 F. This treatment is not currently available in the US. Klinik St. George has an outstanding success rate treating patients like me with Late-Stage Lyme Disease. Over 800 Lyme Patients have undergone this treatment and have reported vastly improved health as a result.
Previously, my family and I felt this treatment was beyond our financial means. However, I am elated to announce a generous donor has agreed to sponsor a big portion of the cost of my Hyperthermia treatment. This fundraiser is an effort to cover the remaining costs.
I truly believe this treatment will help me get my life back and to find the healing I have been seeking for many years now.
With an open heart, I take on this new challenge of seeking out treatment abroad. If you have it in your means to help contribute - I am truly grateful for your contribution. I also appreciate all efforts in sharing my story to raise awareness for Lyme Disease.

- -Breakdown of cost €17,500 ($19,537.88) for two week in patient treatment at the clinic, €2,700 ($3,014.41) for aftercare protocol, $1,000 for flight, €200 ($223.29) for shuttle to and from clinic)*
*This will ALL have to be paid prior to arriving at the Klinik

As of this week, after an extensive application process I found out I have been accepted to Klinik St. George by Dr. Douwes and I am now in the process of scheduling my treatment date.
