Bradley was rushed to the QE11 on Wednesday January 16th,  for emergency surgery on his brain. A sinus infection had spread to his brain. Doctors have said He is very lucky he arrived when he did! January 17th he received a second brain surgery for a brain bleed and is currently sedated and stable. More scans today will determine the next steps that will be taken.
It will be a long road ahead for BJ and his
family and any help will be much appreciated by Raeanne and his parents Bonny and Karl. Thank you everyone!

My name is Amy, im from Middleton and I am a friend to the family and I’m so pleased with all the support you have all shown!
All the funds raised will be spent on expenses incurred by the family during their lengthy hospital stay as well as rehabilitation expenses that are undoubtedly expected when BJ pulls through this! All monies raised are being e-transferred directly to Raeanne Kerr, BJ’s spouse!

Update from Raeanne!
BJ is improving more each day. He is able to hold his head up on his own and can carry on a conversation most times. He officially passed the swallow test and can eat anything he wants now.. so exciting! The infection and swelling seems to be going down and we are hopeful it will continue improving.

There has been no progress with his left side movement but we are very hopeful. It will be a few months at this point before he can have the surgery to have his skull put back in. BJ has a long road ahead of him but we are very grateful and thankful to be where we are today.

We thank you all for your warm wishes, support and prayers. We truly appreciate everything you have done for Bj, myself and our families.

Update: BJ is still critical however the breathing tube is out and the feeding tube is down his nose. He is slowly waking up and he can respond with thumbs up and thumbs down and can squeeze our hands and move around a little bit. We are still day by day. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers.

We want to thank everyone for everything they have done for us, it has been truly amazing!

BJ is currently in stable condition. He had to have drain inserted into his brain last night to relieve the pressure and it is working. The family will know more in the coming days.
Thank you everyone for your incredible support!
