Back in December 2017 Thelma Rebecca Himes better known as Becci to her family and friends suffered a major stroke leaving her left side completely paralyzed. She was kicked out of St. Luke's on New Year’s Eve because she had no insurance and did not have the $400 for an ambulance ride. She was thrown into the back of her husband's truck. Since then she has been kicked to the curb by numerous doctors and specialists even her own company, the BABC.

Unfortunately, once again Becci is being kicked to the curb by her landlord’s son .
An unscrupulous slumlord.
With neither funds nor a home she is forced to live in a cargo trailer.
B was executive director for 15 yrs of a British American bilateral trade organization.
She took a failing organization to one with $500K in bank and many member companies.
She put on conferences and events where people could learn and do business with each other.
B counted many Consul Generals, TV personalities and directors of large and small companies as her friend.
But because of the actions of a few members of her board who kicked her to the curb after she begged to keep her job, here she is today taking a dump in the back of a cargo trailer.
Is this how we reward our best and elders after a health setback
The leaders of this board were Derek Blackwood and Kevin Howard.
Blackwood is a Scot and Howard an Englishman.
The irony is B promoted Scottish culture through Heather and Thistle society where she was one of the few woman Chieftains and managed the Houston Highland Games for some 3 yrs on her own. Further irony is Howard obtained his Queens award to industry and charity off the back of Becci's British American Foundation of Texas which she thought of and managed.

We want to help her by raising funds so Becci can walk again to become the social butterfly she once was.
Today the handicap van broke down with $1000 in repairs needed and B will have a defibrillator installed Thursday 4th April.
The last 460 days for B have been a nightmare.
