Help Bandana, help her family!

This story is about Sister Bandana Sarkar, a very faithful member of Ray of Hope church, Siliguri India. Her Husband is Raj Kumar Sarkar. He is 38 years old and drives a city auto-rickshaw to earn their daily bread. This couple have two daughters and two sons. Her elder daughter is 11 and the younger is 9 years old, and the two sons are 7 and 4 years old.
Three years before, when Bandana who was 25 years old, unfortunately met with an accident while digging the mud. Consequently, this accident not only broke her spinal cord butalso left her bed-ridden ever since. On top of that, her husband was also diagnosed of blood cancer in the very year. Due to these circumstances, she couldn’t afford to support herchildren’s school expenses and meet their daily needs. As a result, all of her children had to stop their schooling.
At present, Ray of Hope Mission School at Naxal Bari is taking care of two of their kids, however, two of them are still at home. Bandana, who is bed-ridden, is taken care of by her 9 years old daughter, while, her husband rides the auto-rickshaw to earn for their daily needs. This nine-year old daughter is responsible to take her to restroom, cook food, and to wash her.
Ray of Hope Church Siliguri is trying to help her towards fixing support at her back medically. After consulting the nursing home, they had found out the to fix her back and make her able to stand, it will cost them around USD 6,000.00 in Kolkata India. With this, she will be able to stand and help herself, at least, use the restroom and do some minor activities. On the other hand, this act of support will also help release her little child of 9 years from supervising her mother. Instead, this little one can continue with her schooling which will take her towardsher brighter future.
I, on behalf of Ray of Hope International Inc. in Virginia is trying to help raise support in the cause of Bandana and her family. All the support thus raised for her treatment will be channeled through Ray of Hope Church Siliguri.
