Help the A.R.E. Center Sierra Leone

$3,718 of $5,000 goal

The A.R.E. Center in Sierra Leone was destroyed by the
Aug. 14, 2017 mudslides.  Worse, approximately 10 percent of the deceased were A.R.E. members.

Keeping them in your daily prayers and meditations of course helps.

But this is one of those times when more is needed.

If you have just a little more to give to our Sierra Leone family in great need, every little bit helps.

Thank you for your love and generosity.

Our Relationship to the Parties We're Fundraising For: A.R.E. Sierra Leone is one of 37 Edgar Cayce Centers around the World

How Funds will be Spent: All donations go directly to the A.R.E.  Center in Sierra Leone, to be disbursed and managed by A.R.E. Sierra Leone President Mohamed Kamara to help affected families, and rebuild the Center

Withdrawal Plan: Mr. Kamara personally will receive, access, manage and account for these funds,  and will use them expressly for relief for mudslide victims as well as infrastructure. As he is located abroad (and per Go Fund Me requirements), Levan Burgin, A.R.E.'s National Outreach Coordinator, is assisting with proper withdrawals and transfers, and providing related coordinated.

Here, a letter from A.R.E. Sierra Leone President Mohamed Kamara.

-----Kamara’s letter --------

Dear A.R.E.Members,

Firstly, I  would like to thank you all for the prayers and encouraging messages sent to me. However, words can not explain the  gravity of the calamity that took place in my country until you see with your naked eyes.

Secondly, to date the rescue teams are digging dead bodies from the ground while thousands are at the national stadium patiently waiting for the government to provide shelter for them. Significantly, I am kindly requesting  to Mr. Kevin, his staff and the rest of the international members to help me and my people.

Thirdly, the number of A.R.E.members who died is unknown at the moment and I personally lost 32 family members and  some are missing. Finally, the streets are deserted while people are  at the stadium and others are in their houses crying for their love ones.

I was very busy going  around with the rescue teams looking for the bodies of my family members and friends. I once more thank you all for the solid efforts and love shown to me at the traumatic situation.

Kind regards,

Mohamed Kamara
A.R.E . President

Thank you so much to the generous donors thus far.

Media attention of hurricane relief in the U.S. overshadows this tragedy, though nearly 1,000 lives were lost in Sierra Leone.

Mr. Kamara reports aid has been slow in coming, and survivors are still sleeping in shelters, including churches and mosques there.

Your $5 and five minutes could go so far.

Thank you, thank you, for your care and giving.
