Anna Cooper is a 22 year old from Bristol, Tennessee. She enjoys living a healthy lifestyle, being in the outdoors, caring for animals, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family. Her parents are Todd and Jennifer, she has two younger brothers, Ryan and Liam, and a loving boyfriend of 3.5 years, Daniel Williamson.
Anna was a Division I Cross Country/Track & Field athlete throughout her four years of undergraduate study at Tennessee Tech University. She recently was accepted into and began the MS/Dietetic Internship program at East Tennessee State University. She was looking forward to furthering her education towards a career as a Registered Dietitan when her world was turned completely upside down.
On October 3, 2018 there was a large mass found in Anna's neck and chest area. The mass is compressing her heart and her blood vessels. After various tests, bloodwork, etc. Anna was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer on October 12, 2018. The mass is a carcinoma/possible sarcoma. The Cooper Family has chosen to have Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston guide and manage Anna's care. Their treatment program is one of the best in the country. Anna and her family will be far from home for the foreseeable future.
The donations received here will be used for medical expenses, traveling costs, living expenses, and any other expenses that may arise due to the far proximity of the hospital from the Cooper Family's home. Anything that you can contribute, no matter how small, will help to ease the financial burden that the Cooper Family is facing.
