Help after cancer

I used to be the money maker of the family. I no longer am since having been diagnosed with neuroendocrine cancer. My husband does not work because I have appointments all the time and no job is going to put up with that. All my kids have moved out and moved on with their lives and Social Security doesn't pay enough to get my car on the road so that I can get back and forth to a doctor's appointment without help from my mother-in-law. Right after being diagnosed with neuroendocrine cancer I had surgery to have my spleen and the back end of my pancreas removed as the 6 cm tumor was sitting on my pancreas. A couple months after this surgery I was having problems eating and pain was just atrocious afterwards. I went back to the doctor and found out I have celiacs disease brought on by the trauma of the surgery for the neuroendocrine cancer. I receive Food Stamps however food stamps doesn't understand that gluten-free food is more expensive. I live with my mother-in-law who is also disabled and money just doesn't come easy. We have nights where we don't have any food because food stamps doesn't cover enough. I need to get to a specialist but without a vehicle that is tagged for the streets I can't go out of City. I have to use my mother-in-law's vehicle but her car is on its last leg also. I just can't seem to win for losing on this and the more that I try to get ahead the further back I'm going and it just seems to be getting harder and harder. So the money that I'm asking for is just to get us back on top not so much to get us ahead but just to get us on top of the bills get our car on the road and to have food when we don't have any food stamps left. I know times are tough everywhere but even $5 helps. If this doesn't work I don't know what we're going to do. Thank you for reading and thank you for helping and sharing.
