I live with combat-related PTSD. A challenge I face is that I do not recognize the early alerts when my body is giving them before experiencing depression, anxiety, panic attacks, and flashbacks. My mental and physical health providers agree that a service dog would be beneficial.

I have found a program that specifically trains service dogs for veterans suffering from PTSD and I am on the wait list. To be successful, I will need to travel 5+ hours to attend the training with the service dog for three weeks. This means I need to secure travel funds, dining funds, and make up for three weeks of lost income so I have started this Go Fund Me campaign.

Any funds raised beyond need will be donated the program providing the service dog.
