This is my second time using this platform to raise money. Last year, collectively, we raised money to help a family out with the recovery from Sandy Hurricane. This time it is more personal.
For the past few years, my friend and I have been dedicated to a unique project that we think will transform the way people work and use their devices. How? We are creating eco-friendly, solar powered bags with built-in Wi-Fi capabilities. Unlike any other product that is out there, our sleekly designed messenger bags and protective sleeves are made out of recycled material-so you don't have to sacrifice fashion for function. While the company is being set up and becoming a reality with the help of many wonderful people, we are still lacking some funds to really get this venture off the ground. The funds raised will not only get us moving forward and to market quicker, but also able to create: a complimentary phone application that will help you keep track of the money you save by using solar technologies to charge your gadgets; useful tools to increase productivity; and automatically entitle you to Helios Co. giveaways and other fun activities.
