Hector Morejon's Funeral Fund

Hector Morejon was born January 15, 1996, the youngest of 5 sons of Lucia Coralia Morejon.   He was  a joyful funny child, who particularly enjoyed his nieces and nephews.  He was unarmed when being shot and killed by the Long Beach Police, just around the bend from his home.  Lucia Coralia Morejon is a single mother who raised Hector alone.  This unfathomable death has left Lucia in shock because she last saw Hector laying in an ambulance and trying to reach out to her. “Mommy, Mommy, please come, please come,” were his final words.  Until now, she still cannot believe that it was the last time she saw her son and that her son is dead because the officer "thought" he saw a gun.

This tragedy is devastating to Lucia because she presently is unable to pay for Hector’s funeral and burial expenses.  That any financial assistance you can give will be contributed solely to Hector’s funeral and burial services which totals $13,619.
