Hurricane Harvey Food Donation

Tax deductible
HEAVENLY HARVEST, is a charitable food product line, created by Chef John Doherty. While a $25 donation can feed an individual two meals a day for a week, a $100 donation will feed a whole family for an entire seven days.

Doherty, world-renowned Chef, served as the Executive Chef of the Waldorf Astoria for thirty years and is now the Chef/Owner of Black Barn restaurant in New York City.

Most recently, Chef Doherty has launched HEAVENLY HARVEST with the goal of giving back to those in need: A staggering 1 out of 6 Americans face hunger each day and 49 million US households struggle to put food on their tables.

With this objective in mind, he has developed a product line which includes seven delicious and high quality meals that meet or exceed USDA adult nutritional requirements.

Each meal consists of restaurant quality ingredients that are cooked to perfection without the use of preservatives or artificial flavorings.  The meals are prepared in individual pouches for maximum nutrient retention and are shelf stable for up to 18 months, making them perfect for disaster relief organizations, food pantries and back pack programs alike!

Chef Doherty aims to bring a higher level of nutrition, taste and respect to the tables of those in need.  With this in mind, we hope to raise funds to aid with the production of these meals which we intend to distribute nationwide.

We appreciate a dontation of any size and we are grateful to all those who help invest in our mission and goal: “To make a positive impact on hunger in this country.”
