Pilgrimage for Peace

That's me in the picture with the cast.  The smile is genuine, but it has been a terribly difficult time of trying to heal.  So, despite my original financial arrangements falling through, I have chosen to continue with a trip to Israel with my church.   This trip with these leaders (and Mejdi tours which provides both Palestinian and Israeli guides) has been a dream of mine for years.

We will visit holy sites of three religions and listen to  tales of life and trauma and struggle and healing and longing for peace.  Walking alongside people who have experienced trauma and struggle and healing, be they family, friends, clients or strangers, is the most meaningful part of my life. Please message me with any questions about what draws me here or about the financials. As I had litte savings, the cost above is a bit less than the cost of the trip without airfare and does not cover some lost wages. 

I would be immensely grateful (and will promise you a happy dance) to receive donations by September 13th.  My dancing will meet the streets of Jerusalem's Old City, even if I have to chair dance to protect my ankle from my clumsiness.  Thank you for your consideration and encouragement, whether or not you are in a place to contribute.
