Heather's Skydive for Charity

I'm Heather and on the 30th October 2016 (revised date after 25th September was cancelled due to high winds) I'm taking part in "Jumping for Joshua", a charity Skydive to celebrate what would have been Joshua's 16th birthday.
I am raising money for two charities:
The Joshua Wilson Brain Tumour Charity
This charity gives help and hope to children with brain tumours & post surgery disabilities.
Joshua Wilson aka SuperJosh was a very happy normal 3 and a half year old when he was diagnosed with his tumour. Lifesaving brain surgery left Joshua in a coma for 3 months before he then started his recovery in rehab - the complicated surgery due to the location of the brain stem left him with complex physical needs, epilepsy, scoliosis, joint problems and an acquired brain injury. Slynedales Cancer Care
An independent charity dedicated to helping North Lancashire & South Lakeland families affected by cancer and other life limiting conditions.
I have chosen Slynedales Lancaster to raise money for, in memory of my brave auntie Galen who sadly lost her fight to breast cancer in January 2011 aged 40 years. Throughout her illness, Galen loved to attend the jewellery making classes, creating beautiful pieces of jewellery and making friends. She was an inspiration to all and even on her worse days, always had a smile on her face.
Where will your Donations go?
Your support and donations will help Josh's Charity improve the lives of children with brain tumours & post surgery disabilities. It will also help CancerCare ensure that local families affected by cancer can access & receive free professional help and support when they need it most.
Any donation big or small will be enormously appreciated and will be equally split between these two fantastic charities who do so much to help and support children, teenagers and adults locally suffering from life limiting conditions.
I have been sponsored by Urban Attic Design for the full amount of the skydive, so all donations will go straight to these charities.
