Heather was leaving a store in Canton, MI when a man attempted to carjack her with a gun.  After falling back out of his line of fire, she got up and ran toward the store for shelter.  He shot her twice while she ran away.  While she was blessed to receive only non-life-threatening wounds, and is expected to make a full recovery, the medical bills will still be sizable. They had to run several tests to make sure she did not have life threatening internal injuries. While she has insurance, her insurance has a very large deductable and maximum out of pocket limit, which she will reach based on the tests and treatments which were required. Any support will be greatly appreciated.
