I Beat Brain Cancer!!
Cameron has finished chemotherapy and radiation and no longer has these treatments!
Cameron is now working on getting stronger and healthier. He does still require a feeding tube until he is able to eat on his own again. We’ll take it!
The fight to restore the household is just beginning. As we stated during the initial stage of this campaign, dad gave up his business to support Cameron full-time during Cam’s treatment at St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital which devastated the household financially, causing the family to downsize to a small 2 bedroom apartment.
The most difficult challenge is in the area of transportation. We lost 2 vehicles that we were no longer able to pay for since dad gave up his income. Mom travels 200 miles a day to and from work and it’s taking a toll on the only car we have.
Dad only has his motorcycle that he rides to work everyday even when it’s 30 degrees and/or raining. Needless to say, we are in desperate need of a good/reliable used car so that at least mom can make it back and forth to work without fearing that the car will break down.
First, we thank ALL OF THOSE who gave during Cams treatment. We were OVERWHELMED by the support. Today, we need your help to get back on track a little by being able to get a reliable car so that mom can continue to work without fear of losing her job because of a lack of transportation.
I smile as I write this because I remember how scared, embarrassed, and unsure we were when we started Cameron’s campaign. It was YOU GUYS who showed us that all we had to do was reach out.
With that being said, THANK YOU ALL from the bottom of our hearts for all that you’ve done and contributed ❤️
Cameron made it!!
Thank You St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital❤️ And thank You All!
We would like to let all who are concerned know that Cameron is well overall. He has had some vision issues that has appeared to have corrected itself so we are thankful. Since Cameron's diagnosis it has been an uphill battle and the process is taking its toll. We have decided to share a little more detail about our situation in order to get some able families and persons on board with us.
As you may already know, I (Dad) had to leave my business behind....losing everything that was connected to my business in order to be here for my son which I do NOT regret.
However, we are now forced to downsize for the sake of survival. We need a smaller home (apartment or townhouse) that is more affordable since I cannot work for a year. Social Security is a waiting game but even still....it doesn't provide much. We came up with an idea that can at least make it possible to survive for the time being.
We are asking 50 people that can to give $10 a month to Cameron's campaign and ask 1 friend to do the same. If this works, it can DRAMATICALLY change our current situation and help my wife to manage at home while I stay at the hospital with our son.
We know that everybody has their own situations and that most of you want to help but may not be able to at this time..... we understand so don't feel pressured.
Thank everyone so much! You guys have been amazing and we owe all of you more than you know. Please share and thanks again.
Such a cute kid!! Glad he beat cancer!! God does answer prayers and does miracle things!! So happy that he is getting stronger!! Hugs and love from Tremonton Utah!!
I am a professional Santa in the St. Louis area. I had a friend contact me knowing I adopt families. He wanted to donate his batman collection to a local deserving child. I saw this story posted by a fellow Santa and felt Cameron is the perfect child that deserves my friends collection. I am not sure how to make contact with the parents to figure out if this could work. I'd appreciate any help to donate this batman collection. Thanks!
So very happy that Cameron has picked up an appetite...... Praise God no more wheelchair, very happy for this outcome thus far.....!! Will continue to pray..... Much love to yall.....
