Healers Supporting Harvey Victims

This past week the Coastal Bend of Texas and surrounding counties were hit by catastrophic storm, Harvey. Many of our colleagues have suffered damage to or lost their homes and businesses, dramatically impacting their livelihoods and, in some ways more importantly, the welfare of their clients.

Allison Puryear, of Abundance Practice-Building, Dori Gatter of Temple of Success and Michael J. Formica and Donna Devaney, of The Counselors Concierge, have teamed up to appeal to members of our professional community. We are asking you to please consider making a donation in support of charities below that are providing help and support to the victims of this natural disaster.

All proceeds from this fundraiser will go to the following charities:
 
·       Bayou City Fellowship
·       CY-Hope
·       Samaritan’s Purse
·       Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Galveston and Houston

These organizations are directly helping victims of Hurricane Harvey, and the tropical storm that has followed it. We have asked for input and researched which charities and organizations would most immediately benefit our colleagues, and their communities. We will not be donating to the Red Cross. If you have been affected by Harvey and have suggestions for other charities, please feel free to PM Michael to make your suggestion.

The campaign will run until October 1st, 2017, at which time it will be closed. Funds will be transferred from Go Fund Me to a dedicated bank account. An accounting of funds distribution will be posted publicaly in the Counselors & Therapists | Online Marketing Facebook group and will be available to anyone who requests it.
