Dear Miss/Mr. Miracle Maker,
Ever since I was a little kid I have always wondered why I was born in the wrong body.
I say "wrong" because back then I never felt quite right being a boy, or so that was what the world said I was. It took many years of great pain and internal reflection to understand that it was not my fault, nor anyone elses'. It was the way the Universe had intended it to be, and I have grown to accept this to a certain degree now that I am in my late twenties.
The US has a long way to come in terms of transgender medical care. The doctors, although many skilled at what they do, are in fact using archaic, non-anatomically correct approaches to the way they make noo-noo's these days.
So, my journey takes me to the far away land of Thailand, where transgender has no sensationalized hype. It is just simply there, and therefore is just a normal routine part of being human. The doctor I have planned to go to since I was thirteen has had a lot of practice and has a different approach, that makes more sense for me and my own physical makeup.
I have come close to achieving my goal of having SRS twice in my life, but then unforeseen financial obligations and setbacks unfortunately took precedence over my accomplishing my dreams. Needless-to-say, it was devestating each time, but I continue to keep faith in myself and my dreams, and understand that all good things come to those who wait.
I appreciate any help you can give towards reaching my goal, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for even taking the time to check out my campaigne.
