We need help in raising money to feed our beloved horses at Three Gaits Therapeutic Horsemanship Center in Stoughton, WI and we hope you will assist us!
Three Gaits is a 501c3 nonprofit therapeutic horsemanship center whose mission is to provide equine-assisted activities and therapies that enhance the lives of people with physical, emotional, or intellectual challenges. Licensed therapists and PATH (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International) credentialed instructors have been helping children and adults with a variety of challenges such as Cerebral Palsy, ADHD, Anxiety, Autism, Down syndrome, and Multiple Sclerosis for the past 36 years. The relationship between horses and humans have incredible benefits including increasing physical strength and balance, improving confidence, and increasing independence. Due to the unusual and unpredictable weather this year, hay prices have sky-rocketed. Our horses need to eat...a lot! One horse can eat up to 10 pounds of hay a day and for our herd it can be close to 300 pounds a day! We not only love these gentle, hard-working therapy horses---we rely on them. They are literally the backbone of Three Gaits as they carry our clients to a greater sense of well being.
Please help us raise enough money to cover our feed costs and keep Three Gaits horses happy, healthy and able to continue the important work that they do. Any amount you are able to donate is greatly appreciated! Thank you!
