Have a Heart for Percy
Donation protected
Almost 18 months after Dad's death and almost to the day of the 3rd anniversary of him falling and breaking his femur, we got the upsetting news that one of our dogs, Percy, has congestive heart disease. Percy is an 8 year old rescued "Bagel" (Bassett Hound & Beagle mix) and was an immense help with Dad's care while we still had him at home. Dad affectionately called Percy "Sgt. Fatty" (he was overweight when we got him) in honor of Sgt, Stubby, the famous dog from WWI. Therapy dog is an understatement when it comes to Percy.
Making a long story short, our veterinary hospital and doctors have allowed us to "run a tab" for the last few years because of Dad's illness and medical expenses. Now we need to clear this so we can put Percy on a cardiac maintenance program to treat his heart problems, which are very manageable at this point. Our balance is $ 3675.00. We have been paying any current services and making monthly payments on our outstanding balance but now we need to get this account current.
We're asking for your help to achieve this. A donation can be small; what you would pay for a set of "The Sword and The Flame" or one of its variants. Or if you prefer, just purchase something from Sergeants 3. As we have done ourselves, making a donation, whatever the amount, adds up and is of great help. The friends and "family" we have been fortunate enough to gain (and keep) from the wargaming hobby have always been there for us. One of Dad's favorite sayings was, "If you find yourself at the end of your rope, just tie a knot and hang on". Your help will make the hanging on much easier.
