Help the Hauer family fire recovery

We would like to introduce you to the Hauer family in El Cajon, CA in San Diego County.
The Hauer family has a long history of adopting disabled children, disabled individuals, and individuals that have trouble finding families and homes. They have been adopting for over 40 years and have adopted over 21 people with ages ranging from 12-51 and do it because they recognized that they could help people.
This morning (1/7/2018) at approximately 4 AM they suffered an emergency where a vehicle fire occured in their driveway through no fault of their own.
Their family was asleep and they woke to find a fire affecting their home and their other vehicle, a van specially designed to accomodate their disabled children.
The home is older and had very few or any working smoke alarms.
Thankfully, they recognized the emergency and accessed 911 where a quick response resulted in the damage being limited to a window, some structural damage to the house, and the vehicles.
The specialized van you see in the pictures will need to be repaired or replaced.
Please consider supporting with anything you can to help this great family return their van to servicable condition or replace it if it cannot be adequately repaired.
Any donations received will be routed through the San Miguel Firefighters Charitable Foundation
