Harvey Relief for Houston Sheriffs
Donation protected
Hurricane Harvey brought devastation all across Southeast Texas and, in particular, the Houston metro area. Unfortunately, some of those most seriously impacted by Harvey were the very same brave members of law enforcement who worked tirelessly to keep us safe during and after the storm.
Attorney Stewart J. Guss believes that the men and women of law enforcement are an irreplaceable part of our community. They are the bedrock upon which the foundation of our safety and security is built. These folks are here for us in our greatest times of crisis and need, and we want to be there for them in theirs.

Local Sherriff’s Deputies Wesley Martin, Chris Wood, Carry Gray, and Brent Kay’s homes all sustained significant damage in Hurricane Harvey and the subsequent flooding, much or all of which was not covered by insurance. The purpose of this GoFundMe is to help these brave deputies put their lives (and homes) back together. The money raised will be delivered in four equal parts to these four officers. Attorney Guss will seed this effort with a personal donation of $2,500.00. We would ask and encourage others in the Houston metro and Southeast Texas area to participate and donate what they can, and – most importantly – to spread this fundraiser to all their family and friends.
These brave folks are here for us when we need them, and it is our pleasure to be there for them when they could use some help as well. I know that my amazing friends, colleagues, and neighbors in the Houston area will feel the same way!
