Harvey Can't Scare Halloween Away!

Two Katy moms, and a posse of new friends, families, and neighbors, have been working so hard to gather Halloween costumes for kids of families who lost everything in Hurricane Harvey. The goal is to see that every child affected by the flood has a chance to celebrate Halloween. Parents are not thinking about Halloween but their kids most certainly are. They deserve normalcy in a time when they are living in chaos. A lot of these families lost everything and can't afford to buy costumes, they are expensive!!!

We have gathered 600 costumes over the last month but yesterday 500 costumes went home with happy kids. It was pretty great to see these kids faces light up when they found a costume they wanted. See the news story here -->  https://www.click2houston.com/news/halloween-pop-up-shop-donates-costumes-to-families-affected-by-floods

Our dilemma is we have at least two more events (October 2nd and 15th) scheduled and many, many more kids who need costumes. We only have 100 costumes left and expect our future events to be just as successful if not more. NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt is expected to be at our event October 15th. With $10,000 we will be able to purchase approximately 400 costumes (averaging $25/costume).

Please consider donating any amout.  Any amount is truly appreciated. The kids faces when they picked out a costume was priceless!!! They still deserve to be children.

Thank you!
