Since teenager Harrison lost his leg to Osteosarcoma ( Bone Cancer)at 16 he wanted to set up a charity to help, assist or support other young people like himself.
As well as hoping to raise funds to fund grants towards more capable limbs for teenagers with primary bone cancer . Harri came up with the idea of booking breaks to the Illuminations at Blackpool, so children living with cancer, in particular bone cancer,could enjoy time away with their family.
The Blackpool lights are an exciting place for teenagers and children of all ages, along with the funfair, the Tower and a host of other attractions to enjoy.
We aim to provide two nights accomodation in a luxury sea front hotel, . We aim to arrange tickets for the family to two main attractions to enjoy over the two days, and We will even throw in Pizza !!
Help us create happier memories for these children and teenagers affected by cancer, in particular bone cancer.
We know first hand, how horrendous having a child with cancer is, the affect it has on other family members, especially sibblings. It can be fiancially draining too, so to be able to enjoy a break away without worrying about the costs, is essential.
We have already arranged for two families to enjoy the delights of Blackpool Illuminatations later this year.
We would like to invite more families to enjoy this next year but need donations to make this happen.
