Harkland's First Album

Paul Michael Knakkergaard, better known as "Paulie Knakk" or "Harkland" is an American alternative-rock / country singer born and raised in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. His stage name derives from being the lead vocalist and songwriter of the band Harkland formed in 2012. The band released two untitled demos in 2013 and 2014 shortly before breaking up. After the supporting band members made the decision to leave Harkland to pursue a project of their own, Knakk decided to keep the name "Harkland" for his solo work. Performing hundreds of shows in and around the state of Pennsylvania and most recently being the first local artist to perform at the Sands Bethlehem Event Center opening for Silvertide, Weezer, and Three Doors Down, he will be releasing his first album (title pending) by Summer of 2014.
