Calling all Hannah Fans!!
This remainder of this post are a few uplifting things Hannah has posted herself on her Facebook page!
"Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. THE LORD IS NEAR. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God. And the peace of God which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
No matter our circumstances God has gone before us and is leading and guiding us through every step.
As the wise Dr. Seuss once said. "You're off to Great Places! Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting. So get on your way!"
I just ask that you keep my family and I in your prayers as we walk through this journey. And I will do my best to keep everyone updated as we move forward.
Hey all! I guess it's well past due for an update. As I'm sure many of you know the last couple of weeks were pretty difficult for me with treatment and being in the hospital last weekend because of the side effects. It was pretty rough but the blessing that came out of it all is that I was able to go ahead and have my scans done early. Just last week we received the wonderful news that all tumors are responding well to treatment! They have shrunk between 20-30% and there is no spreading! PRAISE JESUS!!!! Hopefully we will be able to find out more news of what the next steps are when we meet with the doctor at Vanderbilt August 16th. God is at work and this news calls us to praise Him. It all may not be exactly how I want or imagine things going but I know that His will is perfect. I have prayed, just like Jesus, that this cup be taken from me, but not my will but His be done, and I truly believe he has given me this "cup" for a purpose and that's to bring Him glory. I believe fully that He will bring about complete healing in my body and I will continue praying that through the fight, which I ask you to continue doing as well. Again, I can't thank everyone enough! I truly couldn't do it without you.
"Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and faithful in prayer." Romans 12:2
Thank you Hannah for being a tremendous example a Godly response to hardship! God grant you strength, courage, & peace in your journey toward healing!!
