Unimaginable!
On Sunday, 9/23/18, the unthinkable happened. Danny Hankins, husband of Aleisha Hankins, was killed in a hit-and-run motorcycle accident – eleven years to the day since the death of Aleisha’s first husband.
Last year on 9/24, Aleisha Hankins reviewed for her church family, and family and friends who had gathered to hear her story, how God had worked in her life over the ten years since the death of her first husband, Aaron Anglin. Left with two small children, but surrounded by the love of family and friends, God lead her through this tragedy and even brought her to a new relationship with a man who was to become her second husband, Danny. Danny and his three children joined Aleisha and her two children to become the “Special Seven.” They were married on 7/11/15 in a joyous ceremony, officiated by Aleisha’s brother, Carl Johnson.
So many friends and loved ones are reeling from the news! We all want to help! First, your prayers are already being felt, and she thanks you for that. Many are bringing food, coordinated through a MealTrain site. Still more would like to donate financial resources to help Aleisha through the practical needs that lie ahead.
So this GoFundMe account has been set up to make it easy for you to do that. Feel free to share the link with anyone you think would be interested in helping.
