HAMDS Scholarship Fund 2018
Tax deductible
The Hellenic-American Medical Society of Southern California (HAMDS) was founded in 1980 in Los Angeles, California.
The main mission of HAMDS is to provide financial assistance to Medical and Dental School students of Hellenic heritage in the form of scholarships. Your contribution facilitates this assistance.
Since 1988 the Society has awarded approximately 160 scholarships totaling over $200,000
The main source of funding for the scholarship fund is the annual scholarship dinner, which honors a Hellenic physician, dentist and community activist.
This year our 2018 Scholarship Dinner is being held on Saturday November 10th at the Redondo Beach Marriott Torrance and it is featuring music performances by Peter Deneff, Greek-American soprano Michele Patzakis and Nia Matty.
