Halting the progression of my MS

I have had a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis for 11 years, but have had the symptoms since 1995.
I walk with two sticks and I'm fortunate enough to still be able to drive, ( albeit using hand controls ), as I can no longer drive a 'normal' car.
I am getting more 'disabled' every day and my fear is that I will lose the use of my legs completely...and with it....the remaining 'independance' that I so desperately and stubbornly cling on to.
Finally there is a procedure that could halt my progression.
It is called HSCT ( hematopioetic stem cell transplant) where my own stem cells will be taken from my bone marrow/blood, to be kept until they are needed, then I will have chemotherapy to 'knock out' my immune system, and finally, I get my stem cells back and hopefully rebuild a 'healthy' immune system.
It all sounds so simple when written like that!
My aim is to stop my MS in its tracks so that I can start to live as 'normal' a life as possible, with the knowledge that I won't get any worse.
Unfortunately, I can't get this on the NHS, so I have applied to Mexico to be accepted over there at a cost of approximately £50,000.00. (at present, the least expensive place and half the price of London) and it is too much money for me to be able to raise on my own.
I can't help feeling that time is running short for me and I may not be able to raise the funds needed in time for my 'anticipated' acceptance and appointment which could be within a year.
That is why I am asking for your help.
Although MS is not 'terminal' it is a very debilitating condition which affects, not only the sufferer, but their partners and families too and I would be sincerely grateful for any help ( no matter how small ) that enables me to achieve my goal.
