Tents for Deported Haitians

Through unfair and illegal deportation practices, many Haitians who were born and raised in the Dominican Republic have been displaced and are now living in tent cities near the Haiti/Dominican Republic border in Anse-à-Pitres. We would like to assist them and their families by improving their living conditions. We are going to use the $10,000 to build tents with cement platforms that are extremely sturdy but will also be able to be relocated as needed.
