On January 23,2017, at the age of 48, Bill Hackett suffered a heart attack and following surgery he spent 4 costly nights in ICU.

Bill is home recovering now and we are eternally grateful for this outcome. The Hacketts are in need of financial assistance while he's out of work and healing. All donations, of any size, are deeply appreciated.

Bill graduated from the University of Notre Dame and played on the 1988 National Championship team. He loves his school and his spot in Notre Dame history. He is grateful to be part of the Notre Dame family. He's always has a good word and his blood runs Blue and Gold.

We're raising funds to Help him and his wife Pam with medical costs and to keep the house up and running. We want to make sure his two daughters ages 5 and 9 are taken care of while Bill recovers.

He is unable to return to his old career due to physical demands and he will be looking for new opportunities once he is medically cleared to resume work.
