Surgery for Sabina

Sabina is the beloved guard dog of my sister's young kids. She takes her job of looking out for four wee little ones very seriously and she is forever patient with them, letting them crawl on her, pull her hair, use her for a step stool, and so forth. She is on constant vigilance and lets my sister and her hubby know the instant something is amiss with the kids.
She was injured as a puppy by another dog and needs surgery on her left rear ACL. The vet has given her good prognosis with the surgery, but a bad prognosis without. Sabina is young, only 5 years old, and her limp gets progressively worse. She needs the surgery soon.
My sister does not know I'm setting this gofundme up for her, nor has she asked me to do it. She and her family are on a graduate school salary and simply do not have the money for the surgery. So I'm sending this out to you all, asking for your help.
