Emergency funds for fire victims

In the early hours of 28th June, Dela Cruz family lost their rental suite due to a fire in Downtown Squamish. The family escaped with only the clothes on them and unfortunately they have lost majority of their belongings in this heart breaking incident. Since there is no insurance, we are seeking the communities help to raise some funds to assist this wonderful and hardworking family who are devastated with this loss. They are temporarily placed at Executive Suites but only till Thursday and then will have to find proper accommodation.  As they tirelessly search for a rental place and unable to attend their hourly jobs (hence no pay), it would he amazing if we could come up with some funds to help ease the burden of bills, cost of new belongings, rent etc. If someone has temporary accommodation for this quiet and respectful family of 4, please do not hesitate to reach out as it will be a much needed help in these dire times.
