Funding for Jonah Stille family

$34,650 of $15,000 goal

Raised by 327 people in 45 months
Saturday night, August 15,  tragedy struck in Sheffield,  Tx, when a drunk driver traveling at high speed,  rammed into the Stille home killing four year old Jonah Stille who lay sleeping.  Though the Stilles have not lived in Sheffield long, they have become a part of the community and are loved by many.
Jonah leaves behind his parents and five brothers, one of whom is his twin.   The family will travel to Illinois to lay their boy to rest.  We are asking everyone to help this family in such a difficult time as they are faced with travel and funeral expenses as well as finding a new home because of  extensive damage to their house.  Please contribute in this heartbreaking time.  Every little bit helps.

Mark, the boys, and I want to express our deepest gratitude. There are no words that can ever fully convey our feelings. We have been truly humbled by the outpouring of support from family, friends, community and even strangers. Although the pain of our loss is devastating, we know God is good. Jeremiah 29:11-14a tells us-“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you, declares the Lord” God has carried our hearts through your prayers and our own. Please know we are so thankful for your generosity and loving compassion. The Stille Family.
Please share this on Facebook to reach as many as possible.

As the Stille's pastor and friend I want to thank all who have given so generously and posted such loving words of encouragement. The Stille's have been reading your comments and are genuinely humbled by the vast number of people that have come beside them through this tragic time. Many of you have never even met the Stille's, and that makes this amount of love and support even more exceptional. The Stille's will be posting a personal "thank you" soon. Until then, thank you from their church family. Y'all are so amazing.

How humbling. How amazing! In 14 hours 142 people have raised almost $12,000 for the Stille family. God is bringing good from this as only he can! How amazing would it be to reach our goal before they leave to bury Jonah?!? With 948 "shares" so far, I can't help but think it will happen. Thank you to all who have given. You are so kind.

I manage the Larimer County Long Term Recovery Group that coordinates flood recovery volunteers from across the country. These volunteers come into our region to help our residents with disaster recovery work that is difficult, slow and hard work. We couldn't do it without volunteers. Mark Stille was one of those volunteers who stayed and helped people in Estes Park, Colorado. Our hearts are with Mark and his family during this time. I've forwarded this link to our group to help with this fundraiser. More importantly, we are sending our prayers and love to this family who is now a part of our family in Colorado.

I have no idea what you all are going through. The loss of a child, and especially the loss in such a tragic way, is more than a family should have to bear. But the outpouring of love and generosity restores my faith in the basic goodness of humanity. God bless you all.
