Recoil

Recoil is an abstract non-narrative 16mm short film made by Nik Allday in 1981. The soundtrack was created by Nik Allday and Stephen Mallinder of Cabaret Voltaire in their Western Works Studio. There is currently only one serviceable copy in existence and the objective is to get the film restored and digitally converted for preservation and to make it available to a wider audience.

In addition I have an original release vinyl Red Mecca album in virtual mint condition to give away. If you indicate your interest Nik will sign this for the lucky recipient who will be randomly selected from all interested contributors (weighted by donation amount). All this is dependent upon the project being successful.
