EndSexualHarassmentinPHLrestaurants

The Coalition for Restaurant Safety and Health (CRSH) was created with a mission to end sexual harassment in Philadelphia restaurants.  Read about what we've already accomplished here:
https://www.phillymag.com/foobooz/2018/05/30/philadelphia-sexual-harassment-training-restaurants/

We provide a free, interactive training focused on prevention. We focus on the restaurant industry because it has the highest rate of sexual harassment complaints of any industry, although underreported. When unaddressed, sexual harassment can lead to trauma, absenteeism, and poor morale; impacts are particularly borne by women, LGBTQ workers, and immigrant workers, who are targeted because they are perceived as less likely to speak up. More info on impacts of sexual harassment on our website: https://www.saferestaurantsphilly.org/

To get our project to the next step, we are raising money to recruit and train restaurant workers to do our trainings and to spread the word about our project, connecting to other restaurant workers to inform them about their rights and to get better policies implemented in their workplaces.

** CRSH is a joint project of PhilaPOSH, Women Organized Against Rape, the Restaurant Opportunity Center PA, the Philadelphia Commission on Human Relations, and Community Legal Services.
