Love For Lexi

On the evening of January 3rd, 2019, Alexis (Lexi) Horton was struck by a truck on Randall Rd. in Elgin IL.  She did not survive her injuries and passed away that night.  Lexi was 13 years old.  She was an amazing and beautiful young woman loved by many.  The local community as well as the far reaching Facebook community has been rocked by this tragedy.  The Horton family (Mom-Donna, Dad-Bill and Brother-Kody) is seeking to understand and heal over this devastating loss.  So many have asked to help the family- we felt if we could ease the expense of the visitation and memorial costs and take some of the stress off the family,  then we should do so.  If you feel inclined, please donate with a generous heart, all funds will be donated to the Horton family.  They have asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Jude Children's hospital.  Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 8th from 4-8 p.m. at Laird Funeral Home, and the Memorial Service will be held at St. Thomas More Catholic Church on Wednesday  January 9th at 10:30 a.m. We thank you all for your outpouring of love and will make sure the family sees each and every comment and prayer.  Bless you all.
