Essential Services Fundraiser

We are a small rural community in BC Canada (approx. pop. 500) who relies on fundraisers to cover the costs of our essential services: Fire Brigade and First Respsonders.
With such a small population, and two other groups in the community vying for money as well (Community Assn. and the PAC), it is hard to raise the money we need for proper training, equipment, and most importantly, insurance.
So we are expanding our fundraising efforts to include the family and friends of our community members, and anyone else out there, that wants to help our essential services get the boost of cash it needs to cover all our costs.
Our goal is to raise $10,000 this year which would be split equally between the Fire Brigade and First Responders so that we can ensure everyone is properly trained, insured, and that we have the equipment needed to help keep our community safe.
