Betty Coleman Lung Transplant Fund

Donation protected
I'm posting this for my sister Betty Coleman who is in need of a double lung transplant. Betty is only 56 years old and lives with less than 15% lung capacity.  That was until October 29th, 2016.  On that day, Betty endured a successful 8 hour double lung transplant surgery.  Betty has completed 3 days of physical therapy this week and still going strong. She will be in a 3 month recovery from surgery and a 6 month to 1 year watch for organ rejection.  Her anti-rejection drug consumption is extensive and Betty will continue to need funding support for these drugs through 2017.

To participate in saving a "life" I highly encourage anyone reading this post to become an organ donor. Baylor's transplant program is incredible. Their team provides numerous organ transplants on a daily basis.  God's many gifts are expressed through the expertise of all transplant doctors and the many lives they save.  Thanks to those who have contributed to Betty's fund.  God Bless!

Donors may verify by contacting the Baylor Transplant Program representative, Denaira Mercer. She may be reached by contacting the Baylor Medical Center Transplant Unit in Dallas Texas.
