Bonjour!
Mon nom est Anouchka Beaudry et je suis très fière et honorée de représenter le Canada aux Championnats mondiaux U24, qui seront disputés à Perth en Australie, en Janvier 2018.
J'ai commencé à jouer au Ultimate à l'âge de 12 ans. Depuis que j'ai commencé à jouer, j'ai fait partie de plusieurs équipes compétitives, entre autres : Team Québec Junior, Iris (Team Québec Senior) et 6ixers (Toronto's Elite Women's Team).
En 2016, j'ai joué avec Team Canada Women aux Championnats du monde U20, en Pologne. Dans une finale chaudement disputée contre les États-Unis, nous avons remporté l'OR. Ce tournoi, avec mes 3 entraîneurs et mes 24 co-équipières incroyables, m’a permis de m'améliorer comme joueuse et comme personne.
En juin 2017, j'ai eu l'opportunité de faire partie de Team Canada Women aux Championnats du monde d'ultimate sur plage qui avaient lieu à Royan en France.
Nous avons terminé 4ième. Ce tournoi nous a permis d'avoir une expérience incroyable et d'affronter des joueuses exceptionnelles. J'ai aussi eu l'honneur d'être repêchée sur l’équipe étoile des championnats dans le fantasy draft d'équipe étoile mixte , à la fin du tournoi.
Pendant mes Championnats en France, j'ai reçu une invitation pour faire partie de Team Canada U24 Women. Maintenant que j'ai atteint mon but de faire cette équipe qui regroupe les meilleures joueuses de moins de 24 ans au Canada, j'ai besoin de votre aide. Nous nous entraînons fort, notre équipe est très bonne et nous avons tous le même but : rapporter l'Or au Canada!
En tant que jeune athlète étudiante, participer à tous ces tournois est très dispendieux. Je travail à temps plein cet été et garde tout mon argent pour ce grand événement. Cependant, les coûts d'équipe, de voyagement, d'hébergements, des camps d'entraînements et des tournois sont impressionnants. C'est pour cette raison que je demande votre aide !

Hello!
My name is Anouchka Beaudry and I’m extremely honoured to represent Team Canada at the Under 24 World Championships, held in Perth Australia in January 2018.
I started playing Ultimate when I was 12 years old. Since I started playing, I played on a few club teams : Team Québec Junior, Iris (Team Québec Senior) and 6ixers (Toronto's Elite Women's Team).
In 2016, I competed with Team Canada Women at the U20 World Championships, in Poland. In a hard fought final against USA, we won GOLD. This tournament with 3 amazing coaches and 24 incredible teammates has made me improve so much both as a player and a person.
In june of this year, I got the opportunity to be part of Team Canada Women at the World Championships Beach Ultimate, in Royan (France). We finished in 4th place and this tournament was an incredible experience to compete against some of the best players in the world. I was also extremely honoured to be selected in the fantasy draft of an All-Star Mixed team at the end of the tournament.
During my Championships in France, I received an invitation to be part of Team Canada U24 Women. Now that I have reached my goal of making a team that regroups the best players in Canada, I need your help. We are all training hard and we have a very strong team, with a common goal : bringing home the Gold !
As a young athlete and student, competing in all of these tournaments comes with a substantial cost. Although I am working and saving all my money for this event, the team fees, travel, accommodations, training camps and tournaments are difficult to afford. This is why I am asking for your help !
