Family Fest at BLC

My name is Jacob Schneider, and I am one of the event coordinators for Family Fest at BLC. We are seeking to run our second installment of this event on Bethany Lutheran College's campus this coming April.
Family Fest at BLC began as an idea in a management class in the fall of 2014. The vision was to promote family unity in the community. Obviously, in today's world, family trips or nights out can cost a significant amount of money. Our goal with Family Fest is to provide a fun, safe, and completely free night out for many local families.
Our first event occurred in the spring of 2015. It was a huge success. Despite inclement weather, we had over 150 people show up to our first ever Family Fest. We were able to provide our guests with food, games, and multiple sources of entertainment for several hours.
Family Fest caters to families with children between Kindergarten and 6th grade. Our games and entertainers are geared towards that age range. We have many friendly volunteers to help with the gaming stations throughout the evening as well.
Now, we are seeking to run Family Fest again this year. We want to make it bigger and better than before. We are hoping for a far larger turnout this time around, and we want to be able to provide everyone with a spectacular experience. With our ambitious plan, we are going to need proper funding.
All proceeds raised through this campaign will go straight towards providing a free night out for hundreds of people. We will be using all donations to provide food, games, and entertainers for our guests. In the past, we have had superhero impersonators, caracature artists, face painters, bands, and so much more. This year, we are seeking to expand our horizons and bring in even more exciting features for our attendees!
Our event is scheduled to take place on Friday, April 29th, 2016. It will be located at Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato, MN. Updates will follow as to the specific time that the event will run. Ideally, we would like to have any and all donations by April 15th in order to guarantee enough time to purchase the food, games, and other items necessary to Family Fest's success.
Your generous donations will be appreciated by hundreds of people. All funding will be used to provide area families with a free night out that they most definitely deserve.
As someone who has ran this event in the past, I can personally say that your donations will make a difference in the lives of many people. Your generosity will not go unnoticed.
