ISLA Chilean Lifeguard Exchange

Hello Friends, 

I am raising money to support my costs on an upcoming lifeguard exchange program organized by the International Surf Lifesaving Association.

This Exchange involves a 22 day itinerary guarding and teaching at several locations in Chile in January...
-Providing water safety at the Pucon International Ironman Triathlon
-Working with youth at the Kraken Lifeguard School
-Training and Guarding with the Guardavidas SEAL team, a group of professional Chilean guards

I have been selected out of many to join the 4 person team that is going on the exchange on its 4th year. Your donations will help to offset the cost of the donation to ISLA, which covers much of the cost of the trip, and to help me cover the airfare already purchased and other expenses involved. Anything that can be given is greatly appreciated. 

I am extremely excited and grateful to have the opportunity to go on this exchange. I will be able to share my wealth of lifeguard knowledge from several other international lifesaving trips and also use my language skills learned in the Peace Corps to support the team and our Chilean counterparts. I was just recently notified of the trip, which spans fron January 4th-22nd, so the sooner I can raise some money the better!
