Gus Aguayo Road to Recovery

About a month ago our family received some news that hit us to our core. Gus Aguayo, husband, father, son, brother, and friend, was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor in the sigmoid colon. The cancer is diagnosed at a stage 3. Surgery to remove the tumor is the best option right now. The probability of needing chemotherapy after surgery is 50/50.  We will know more after the surgery once they are able to test the lymph nodes to see if the cancer has spread. Those who know Gus know he is a hard working man, kind hearted, and very humble.  He is always there to help everyone and anyone in any way that he can. Out of respect for Gus and his privacy we have been dealing with the news privately as a family up until now. He is the main provider for his family. He hasn't been able to work for over a month now and is uncertain when he'll be able to return. Though our main concern is his health, doctor bills are adding up including the house bills. Money is short and times are stressful. Our goal right now is to raise $15,000 to help pay towards these bills and for Gus to receive the medical attention and care that he needs. We are grateful for any gift of kindness and your prayers are deeply appreciated. In our hearts with God’s grace, everything is going to come together, maybe not immediately, but eventually.
