My name is Sammy Holbrook, Lafayette, Louisiana. My wife's family, The Gulotta's, need your help. All the money raised here, will goto the Gulotta family to help them rebuild there 100 year old family store. From sheetrock to staining the floors.
Any money left over will be donated by the Gulotta family to help others effected by the flood in there community! I started the GoFundMe campaign so I can present a check from this campaign to the Gulotta family, becasue they have done so much for me!
My Dad and I have decided to produce a video, because we knew the family in need, would be too proud to do so. (Please watch the video, to know more!)
In just one day, a major weather event has nearly destroyed over 100 years of this family’s faithful service.
The Family – The Gulottas
In 1916, 100 years ago, great grandpaw Gulotta started a humble saddle and boot repair shop, serving the workingmen and women of the area with a promise; To be kind to all that walk through the door, help those in need and always put family first.
Over the last 100 years, four generations of Gulottas have followed in his footsteps providing the finest Western and Workwear possible.
Now they’re faced with loosing it all.
In the recent past, with the invasion of the big chain stores and 2015 crash of the oil industry, Gulotta’s had to cut every expense, including flood insurance ; doing all possible to keep the doors open, while continuing to provide exceptional service, and even bringing workwear directly to the workers at their work place.
Now they’ve experienced the worst flooding this area has seen in over 200 years, devastating this already challenged Gulotta family business.
Please help this family that has contributed so much to an area of hard working people. Help them rebuild, re- stock and continue to carry on Great Grandpaw Gulotta’s promise.
