GR loves Flint

Hello! My name is Megan Thauer. I am from Grand Rapids, MI. I recently created this fundraiser to raise awareness and collect donations for Flint during this unfortunate time. Being so close to the city of Flint, I wanted to reach out and help in some way. So with the help of some great friends this is how GR <3 Flint came to be.
Most of you already know about the water crisis in Flint. Not only has it been devastating with health issues, but it also has been a constant struggle with every day simple tasks that most of us usually do not think about.
GR <3 Flint will strive to make a difference for Flint during this crisis. Any donations will be put towards support for Flint and towards buying large quantities of water that we will deliver. The Food Bank of Eastern Michigan is one drop off location I am hoping to donate water to, as well as The Red Cross. If we get enough donations I would also like to drop off cases of water to those individuals and families who have to travel far every day for it.
T-shirts are also being made with our logo to help spread awareness throughout the community!
GR <3 Flint is trying to reach out to not only friends, family and surrounding areas of West Michigan, but all
residents of Michigan that are aware of this crisis and anyone who wants to the help in this cause! Not from Grand Rapids, or Michigan? That is okay! Any and all donations are greatly appreciated! If you wanted to help Flint in some way well this is your chance to be able to give back!
